The Catholic Women's League
The Catholic Women's League of Canada was organized nationally June 17, 1920 and granted federal incorporation December 12, 1923. it is officially recognized by the Canadian conference of Catholic Bishops as a lay association of women.
The League, the largest national organization of Catholic women in Canada, seeks to unit Catholic women as a community striving for spiritual, cultural and intellectual growth, and the development of social action.
The patroness of the League is the Blessed Virgin Mary under the title of Our Lady of Good Counsel. The League crest is a cross, execmplifying faith, surmounting ten maple leaves representing the provinces of Canada, with the words"THE CATHOLIC WOMENS'S LEAGUE OF CANADA-FOR GOOD AND CANADA" enclosed in a unbroken circle, symbolicof constant service to God and Canada. The colours of the crest are blue, for the Virgin Mary and the papal colours, white and gold. The flag is a permanent, public symbol of faith,unity and purpose.

- Sault Star Santa Fund
- Mass of shut ins
- Parish Donation
- Seminarian Fund
- Camp Trillium
- Save a family plan (2 families)
- Father Vezina in Attawapiskat
- Baptism roses
- Confirmation and 1st Communion Gifts
- Assist the parish with other functions
We are able to help these charities financially because of the support of the parish the parishioners during the annual Bake Sale and Bazaar.
We meet on a monthly basis.
