 MISSION STATEMENT OF

OUR LADY OF GOOD COUNSEL PARISH

We are a Baptized people seeking to respond to God the Father’s call to be His very own. We belong to Him.

We gather as a people of the Eucharist to praise, worship, and adore Him, in Spirit and in Truth.

We seek, claim, and celebrate the saving work of Jesus in our lives.

We acknowledge, and seek to submit to, His authority as Lord over every aspect of our lives.

We seek to live by His Holy Word, and to witness for Him wherever we are, relying on the power of the Holy Spirit.

We rejoice in and acknowledge Mary as our Mother, whose example and intercession we treasure.

We commit ourselves to this in our personal lives and as a Parish Community, in union with the Universal Church,

under the leadership of the Holy Father, the Bishop of Rome and Vicar of Christ, and in concern for all of human society.
