Our Blue Doors
It is a Christian understanding in Russia that when someone paints a door to their home blue in honour of our Blessed Lady, then all who pass through that blue door receive a special blessing in her name.
For this reason, you will notice that many of our Parish doors have been painted blue, most especially in our hall, and the one leading to our 'quiet room' for families with children.
Since our Parish has been dedicated in a special way under Our Lady's protection, we decided to honour her further in this way, and to ask her blessing upon all who enter through our blue doors.
