Spiritually Adopt an Unborn Baby
Parishioners who adopt a baby are invited to write the name of their child on a piece of paper provided in the entranceway of our Church. Blue forms for boys and pink forms for girls. The form has a place for your baby's name, and your own name. On the part you cut off and keep, there is the due date for your baby's birth (nine months from the time you began the spiritual adoption), and a short prayer you are invited to pray every day.
The part with your name and your baby's name is returned to the Church and placed in the baby crib Fr. Michael built. It is located on the shelf behind the first pew coming into Church, near the Reconciliation Room.
On the Feast of the Holy Innocents (December 28th) Fr. Michael will offer a special Mass for all these children. Please pray the slaughter of our innocents in Canada will come to an end soon.
